Annual Awards Eligibility
- WSAMA Awards are presented to students of both the Adults and Children’s Classes. Students need to hold the minimum rank of Yellow Belt before November 1st of this year to be considered eligible.
- There are three award categories for each class: Most Improved Student, Student of the Year, and Black Belt Excellence. A student can only be awarded one time for each category. Hence, past winners are not eligible to win the same award twice. However, they are still eligible to win awards from other categories.
- Awards are based on merits of the students observed throughout the calendar year.
